Despite being aware that he has limited knowledge, the poet has begun writing this devotional hymn. He explains that appropriately singing devotional hymns praising Lord Aadinath immediately destroys all the sins accumulated by living beings over innumerable lifetimes. He further believes that by the divine influence (‘prabhava’) of Lord Aadinath, these hymns will influence virtuous individuals just like drops of water present on a lotus leaf acquire the radiance of pearls. 8.
जिस प्रकार जल की बुंदें भी कमलिनी के पत्तों पर मोती जैसी सुन्दर लगती हैं, उसी प्रकार हे नाथ ! मुझ अल्पबुद्धि वाले द्वारा भी किया हुआ स्तवन आपके प्रभाव से सज्जनों के मन को निश्चित ही प्रसन्न करेगा, सन्तोष देगा |
