A Chakravarti (Emperor) is the wielder of the Sudarshana chakra. He is the master of the entire earth and the sole ruler of all its subjects. Emperor Bharata is destined to be the first Chakravarti of this era. Hence, this chakra ratna (precious discus) manifested in his armory. This gem, radiant like the sun, appeared as if it were a part of the sun itself. The entire splendor of Indra (king of celestial beings) seemed futile against its brilliance. Its radiance reached the nooks and corners of the earth. It seemed as if the sun paled against the chakra’s brightness. A thousand wrestlers seemed as fragile as paper in front of the chakra’s strength. Emperor Bharata, accompanied by Buddhisagar and other ministers, priests, and distinguished members of the kingdom, have reached the armory to worship this Chakra. At this moment, it seems as if a new sun has come into existence within the armory, temporarily blinding the visitors with the brilliance of the Chakra ratna. Today, it is no longer an ordinary armory; its grandeur has increased even more. It is the storehouse of the world's most potent weapons like bows, arrows, daggers, maces, swords, etc. These divine weapons are very sharp and powerful and possess power immensely higher than regular weaponry. They can shatter a vajra (a thunderbolt) into pieces as if it were made of glass. Emperor Bharata offers lotus flowers to the Chakra, which can instantly destroy all existing powerful weapons in the armory. Minister Buddhisagar prayed to the Chakravarti, “O Emperor! We have completed the worship of this chakra in a grand manner. Tomorrow is Vira lagna (an auspicious time) and conducive to glorious and brave undertakings. Hence, we request you to proceed to win kingdoms in all directions.” Hearing this, Emperor Bharata offered a lotus flower on the Chakra ratna. Seeing this, minister Buddhisagar exclaimed - “Oh! The sun has found its lotus.”
आयुधशाला में चक्ररत्न की पूजा – चक्रवर्ती अर्थात जो सुदर्शन चक्र का स्वामी है, सम्पूर्ण पृथ्वी जिसके आधीन है और जो समस्त प्रजा का एकमेव शासक है। सम्राट भरत भी इस काल के प्रथम चक्रवर्ती होने वाले हैं अतः अब उनकी आयुधशाला में चक्ररत्न प्रगट हो चुका है। सूर्य की ज्योति वाला यह रत्न मानो उसी का अंश है, उसके तेज के समक्ष इन्द्र का सारा वैभव व्यर्थ है, उसकी कांति धरती के अंतिम छोर तक पहुँच रही है, उसके प्रकाश से सूर्य भी लज्जित दिखाई पडता है और उसके बल के समक्ष हजार मल्ल भी कागज के जहाज के समान जान पडते हैं। सम्राट भरत बुद्धिसागर सहित अपने सभी मन्त्रियों, पुरोहितों एवं राज्य के विशिष्ट जनों के साथ आयुधशाला में चक्ररत्न की पूजा हेतु पहुँचे हैं। इस समय आयुधशाला में मानो एक नये सूर्य ने जन्म लिया है क्योंकि चक्ररत्न के प्रकाश ने उनकी आँखों की रोशनी को एक पल के लिये ओझल कर दिया है। आयुधशाला की शोभा आज और अधिक बढ गयी है, वह आयुधशाला कोई सामान्य नही थी, वह विश्व के सबसे शक्तिशाली शस्त्रों का भण्डार है, तीर-धनुष, कटारें, गदा, तलवार इत्यादि अत्यन्त धारदार और बलशाली शस्त्र हैं, जो वहाँ सुसज्जित हो रहे हैं। ये शस्त्र अत्यन्त दिव्य हैं इनमें सामान्य शस्त्रों जैसा साधारण बल नही, ये तो वज्र को भी काँच के समान टुकडे- टुकडे करने की सामर्थ्य रखते हैं। परन्तु इन सब शस्त्रों के बल को भी जो क्षण भर में चकनाचूर कर दे ऐसे चक्ररत्न की पूजा हेतु सम्राट भरत अपने हाथों से कमल पुष्प अर्पण कर रहे हैं। बुद्धिसागर मन्त्री ने चक्रवर्ती से प्रार्थना की कि हे सम्राट! इस चक्ररत्न की महावैभव के साथ पूजा सम्पन्न हो चुकी है, कल वीरलग्न अर्थात योग्य मुहुर्त है अतः आप दिग्विजय के लिये प्रयाण करें। ऐसा सुनकर भरत ने चक्ररत्न पर कमल पुष्प समर्पित किया और यह दृश्य देख मन्त्रीवर के मुख से सहज ही निकला – “अहो! सूर्य को कमल मिल गया है।”
